Fabrizio Romano reports West Ham get ‘green light’ from Armando Broja for move to London Stadium
Chelsea striker Armando Broja has given the “green light” for a move to West Ham United, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The Albania international has been heavily linked with a move to East London where David Moyes is keen to strengthen his attacking unit.
Romano, in his CaughtOffside column on Substack, stated that Moyes is now insisting on a deal with Broja now ready for the experience at the London Stadium.

“Broja is still waiting for Chelsea to decide what to do with him,” he wrote. “The youngster has already given the green light to a move to West Ham.
“There are also other clubs in the race but David Moyes is insisting and Broja would like an experience at West Ham. Thomas Tuchel is convinced that Armando is a jewel: the decision will be for Chelsea,”
West Ham are coming off the back of an impressive season where they finished seventh in the Premier League table and also cemented their place in the semi-finals of the Europa League where they suffered a defeat against Eintracht Frankfurt.

One of the key areas where the Hammers did struggle in the previous campaign was the attacking front.
Michael Antonio has an incredible attacking threat but he had fitness concerns in the previous campaign which makes it essential for the Irons to make a move for someone like Broja who is young, hungry and has the experience of playing in the Premier League.
In the previous campaign, the 20-year-old was extremely impressive in front of the goal for Southampton where he managed to score nine goals and provided an assist in 38 matches across all competitions. Six of those goals came in the Premier League in just 32 matches [Transfermarkt].
