Fabrizio Romano drops Declan Rice West Ham United exit news with Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United keen
Fabrizio Romano has dropped an update on West Ham midfielder Declan Rice with Manchester City, Arsenal and Manchester United keen on signing him.
The Sky Sports journalist took to Twitter to claim that Manchester United have not made contact with the 24-year-old or the Hammers.
He also stated that City will make a bid if the Englishman wants to join and then backed it up by saying that he’s open to moving to the Etihad Stadium.
Romano wrote, “Declan Rice deal. West Ham always expected Man City to join the race after Gündogan decision. Man City will only bid if player agrees to the move. Arsenal remain confident and prepared to bid again for Declan. Arteta, insisting. No approach from Man United.
“Manchester City have decided to bid for Declan Rice after calling West Ham last Friday to be informed. Man City also checked player’s side — understand Rice is open to any move so deal depends on the clubs now. Arsenal, planning to bid again since last week.”
Rice open to City
His willingness to move to City is only a good thing for West Ham as they can now make the most of his sale from all parties keen.
He’s also not said to be against joining Manchester United so if they suddenly come up with a bid too good to turn down, the Hammers could accept that as well.
They know that they are in a great position as Rice is someone every team in Europe will want to sign this summer.

He’s undoubtedly one of the best midfielders in the world and will make every team better so there’s no surprise to see such huge numbers being thrown into the mix.
Manchester United seem like the third choice as things stand but it remains to be seen if Manchester City can offer more than what Arsenal did.
The Gunners looked to be leading the chase for the longest time but money talks and City could now steal a march on them.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers are already preparing to cash in on the Declan Rice money as they hold a transfer meeting in London as they’re confident of sealing a £50million signing.
