Fabrizio Romano blown away by West Ham United after what he’s seen in transfer window
Fabrizio Romano has picked out West Ham for their transfer window crediting them for having one of the best transfer windows.
The Hammers have made eight signings so far which have generated plenty of excitement amongst fans ahead of the Premier League season.
Now, the transfer specialist showed he has been left impressed by the work done at the London Stadium in the window in his column for The Daily Briefing on 16 August.
He said: “It’s still too early to predict what’s going to happen in the final weeks of the transfer window in my opinion! Many things can happen for all the big clubs… it’s gonna be a long couple of weeks, for sure.
“So, not a good time for predicting who will have had the best window, but credit to West Ham so far.
“They’ve done an excellent job landing players like Wan Bissaka, Todibo, Guido Rodriguez, Fullkrug… these are names for top, top clubs. Congrats to West Ham, really.”

Tim Steidten and Julen Lopetegui have worked together over the summer to rebuild the squad that they inherited from David Moyes.
This has seen a defensive overhaul at the London Stadium with Aaron Wan-Bissaka being the latest to come in.
Work has also been done on the forward line with Niclas Fullkrug ready to take the reigns as the main number nine for the Hammers.
In behind him, the Irons have added Crysencio Summerville to the mix to provide competition for the likes of Lucas Paqueta and Mohammed Kudus.
All these signings have certainly made the squad better in East London which has resulted in plenty of excitement from supporters.
With the season opener against Aston Villa coming up, fans will get a first look at the fresh-faced squad under Lopetegui.
From the outside everything is positive but it is yet to be seen how quickly the new players can gel together and turn that into points.
