Fabianski returns – Confirmed West Ham XI v Aston Villa

West Ham have named their confirmed starting line-up ahead of the Premier League clash against Aston Villa on Sunday (13 March).

The Hammers boss has two made changes from the side that lost 1-0 against Sevilla in the Europa League in midweek.

Alphonse Areola has been dropped and Lukasz Fabianski has returned. Said Benrahma has also returned to the line-up in place of Nikola Vlasic, who’s also been axed.

Must win

It’s a must-win game for the Hammers.

David Moyes’ side are without a win in their last three games in all competitions and are heading into this match on the back of a 1-0 defeat against Sevilla in the Europa League.

Despite the defeat, the Hammers are confident they can turn it around in the second leg.

However, it’s their stuttering form in the league that is a real big worry for the London outfit.

They have lost back to back Premier League games, and they must win it at home today to keep themselves in the race for the top four.

To be honest, they have been playing well lately. Against Liverpool, they could have won the game, but poor finishing had let them down.

Another big factor is the Hammers are missing Jarrod Bowen for this game. Bowen has been inspirational this season, and losing him through injury is a huge blow.

Villa are in great form at the moment, having won three games in a row ahead of this fixture.
