FA Cup fifth-round draw: West Ham ball number, TV channel and start time
West Ham are in the hat for the fifth round of the FA Cup after edging past Burton Albion.
Nuno Espirito Santo‘s side were taken to extra-time at Pirelli Stadium on Saturday but substitute Crysencio Summerville’s winner secured West Ham a 1-0 victory.
West Ham rode their luck at times in the fourth round FA Cup clash against the League One strugglers, but their quality told in the end.
While West Ham’s priority is to ensure they are still in the Premier League next season, rather than playing Championship football in London Stadium, a cup run can be an extra boost.
Now, they, and many other teams still left in the competition, will eagerly await who they face in the next round of the FA Cup.
When is the FA Cup fourth-round draw?
Last season, West Ham were knocked out of the FA Cup at the third round stage after losing 2-1 at Villa Park.
Lucas Paqueta, who swapped West Ham for Flamengo in January, opened the scoring before Amadou Onana and Ollie Watkins completed Villa’s comeback.
This season, however, West Ham are one win away from the quarter-finals as they aim to win the FA Cup for the first time since 1980.
So, when will they find out their next opponents? The FA Cup fifth round draw will take place at around 6.35pm on Monday, 16 February.
Even though Macclesfield host Brentford at 7.30pm on Monday and Port Vale have to wait until March to play Bristol City due to the poor state of their Vale Park pitch, the draw will take place before these fixtures.

Where can I watch the FA Cup draw?
The draw is available to stream live for free on the official TNT Sports YouTube channel and its various social media platforms.
In the United Kingdom, it will also be broadcast live on TNT Sports 1 and discovery+.
- West Ham have won the FA Cup three times in their history
- The Hammers beat Preston in 1964, Fulham in 1975, and Arsenal in 1980
- They’ve been runners-up twice, most recently in a penalty shootout loss to Liverpool in 2006
The draw will take place in Macclesfield before their tie with Brentford, and ex-Chelsea stars Joe Cole and Karen Carney will pull the balls out of the hat.
Once the draw is made, the fifth round matches are set to be played across the weekend of 6-9 March, depending on TV picks and scheduling.
What ball number are West Ham?
Ahead of the fifth round draw, West Ham fans will be eagerly awaiting which side they face next. However, their main focus will be on getting out of the relegation zone as soon as possible.
Premier League leaders Arsenal are lurking in there, as are last season’s beaten finalists Manchester City.
West Ham are ball number eight, while Arsenal are six and City are 14.
Underdogs Macclesfield are ball number 15 and West Ham’s London neighbours Chelsea and Fulham are seven and two, respectively.
