ExWHUEmployee: West Ham to return on July 2 for their pre-season
West Ham are set to commence their pre-season training from July 2, claims reliable insider ExWHUEmployee.
The Hammers have some players currently on international duty so they’re expected to take a vacation before joining the team.
However, David Moyes, the coaching staff and the remaining players are set to gear up for next season in four days.
Cannot wait for the action
It’s been such a rewarding year and we cannot wait for next season to begin as soon as possible.
Very few would’ve thought at the start of last season that we would finish sixth and would be preparing for a season in the Europa League in 2021/22, but here we are.
Moyes has done an exceptional job with this club and it’s amazing news that he’s put pen to paper to a new deal. He’s set to stay on for three years and he can hopefully help us bridge the gap between the top four and make us finish top six consistently in the coming campaigns.

Barring the results, he’s also got about a change in the culture at the club and has brought about happiness inside the dressing room and the stands.
It’s a shame that fans weren’t allowed inside the stadium this past season, but they’re likely to be come August and we cannot wait to see the kind of reception this side gets when they walk out to play Leicester City in our first home game of the season.
We’re hoping that by then we’ve recruited a few good players that can help us challenge for top four again and Declan Rice’s future is sorted with him extending a new deal.
Jesse Lingard is another signing that we would like to see happening and as things stand it’s unsure whether that’s going ahead.
However, we’ve got some exciting things to look forward to and are set to play our first pre-season game against Dundee on July 9.
