ExWHUEmployee: West Ham include sell on clause and receive £2.3m from Anderson sale
West Ham have reportedly parted ways with attacker Felipe Anderson with Lazio securing his services for a reported £2.3million.
According to reliable insider ExWHUemployee, the Hammers have taken a significant loss on the player’s transfer but will get 50 per cent from any future sale as they’ve included a sell-on clause in the deal.
Via his Patreon page, he stated that the player has joined the Italian club already.

He said, “Anderson has joined Lazio for approximately €3m which works out at about £2.3m.
“He has apparently signed a 4-year deal and on the same wages he is on now.
“West Ham will get 50% of any sell-on fee.”
While the Hammers haven’t made an official announcement yet as the player has to undergo certain procedures before it’s a confirmed transfer, Lazio appeared to have made a statement on Wednesday, which has now been taken off their website.
As quoted by The Sun, it read, “Felipe Anderson and Lazio have found themselves after three seasons lived apart.
“When the roads parted, the club and the Brazilian continued towards their respective ambitions: for Lazio to chase the Champions League, after the failure of the evening of 20 May 2018, against Inter.
“From tomorrow his home will once again bear the colours of the sky, the sky of a city that smiles more than London and that wants to bring back the smile of Felipe Anderson and his football.”
What an awful deal
The only good part of the Brazilian’s sale is that there’s a sell on clause so that will ensure that we get at least something if in the future Lazio decide to sell him.

Having joined as our record signing, Anderson did very little to justify his huge transfer fee and always left the fans wanting for more as his undeniable talent was there for everyone to see.
He was a good dribbler and crosser and was versatile to play on either side of the Hammers attack.
However, where he lacked was his end product, and he wasn’t one of the popular figures inside the room either. This eventually led to the club parting ways with the player.
We’ve made some huge financial blunders in the transfer market in the past, but this one is the cherry on the cake.
While it is nice to see the back of Anderson, it would’ve been better if the club managed to recoup some more money from this deal.
