West Ham could sign both Jesse Lingard and Matheus Pereira this summer, claims ExWHUEmployee.
However, the chances of that happening are pretty bleak and he’s aware that the club could end up with neither.
In a detailed update on his Patreon page of The West Ham Way Podcast, he discussed the chances of both the players moving to the London Stadium this summer.
He wrote, “We haven’t met the valuation yet [for Pereria] and are exploring a range of different proposals including a loan with obligation to buy and a loan with an option to complete the deal.
“The club, despite a lot of indication from Lingard and Manchester United that Jesse will either remain there or consider a move abroad with the likes of A Madrid showing interest, have not completely given up on him.
“Therefore if Pereira was to sign on loan a later move for Lingard could happen. Although this is incredibly optimistic and knowing us we could end up with neither.”

He himself admits that he’s being optimistic, so even if we sign one of the two, there will be happiness among the Hammers faithful.
Lingard, for reasons proven to us since January, would be a phenomenal signing and give us that X factor in the final third along with a new and more clinical striker.
His runs beyond the number nine have unsettled opposition defenders time and again and he’s also delightful with the ball at his feet.
His goal-scoring abilities were suppressed at Manchester United, but he showed just how good he is at putting the ball into the net here at West Ham.
Pereira is also a versatile attacking midfielder who will guarantee us goals and assists.
He likes to play the inside forward role on the right but is equally adept at playing as a number 10.
If Lingard is also signed, then we’ll see more of Pereira on the right, but if he isn’t David Moyes has multiple positions to deploy the West Brom star in.
