ExWHUemployee: Thilo Kehrer arrives at Rush Green with West Ham set to make transfer announcement

PSG defender Thilo Kehrer has reportedly arrived at Rush Green as West Ham look set to finalise his signing.

According to ExWHUemployee, he is at the Hammers training ground to finalise all the loose ends before an official announcement can be made today.

He will also be completing his photos and other media work before the club can release a statement that they have secured his services.

West Ham

Ex wrote, “We can confirm Kehrer is at the training ground now finalising or the loose ends and is expected to be announced today. He will be completing his media work and photos as well. The player has also started following West Ham on his Instagram if you like to look for other signs.”

Good move

Signing the defender is a good move by the Hammers, especially after Nayef Aguerd is set to miss half the season.

Kehrer is not only a centre-back but can also play as a right-back and a left-back – offering tremendous versatility to this side.

He also comes with the experience of winning trophies and spending years inside the dressing room of a Champions League club with world class players.

This will definitely rub off on some of the players at West Ham and that will be beneficial for the club.

Rob Newman has done a wonderful job in bringing him to the club and we cannot wait to see how he fares in the coming weeks and months.

Whether or not he is registered in time for the UEFA Conference League qualifier against Viborg remains to be seen but he should be available against Brighton on August 21.
