ExWHUemployee shares West Ham United transfer update in pursuit to sign Manchester City sensation Carlos Borges
ExWHUemployee has shared an update as West Ham look to sign Manchester City starlet Carlos Borges in this summer window.
The Hammers insider claimed on Patreon [22 July] that the 19-year-old Portuguese winger is likely to be the next one through the door.
With a few things left to be ironed out, the deal could progress very soon if progress is made in the negotiations.

Ex wrote, “We can reveal that the interest we reported in Manchester City winger/forward Carlos Borges in early June has turned into him being the closest to joining the club as our second signing behind Sean Moore this summer. There are a few things to finalise with his move yet but he is seen as the most likely player to join and this could be concluded soon if negotiations continue to progress.”
Left field
At the start of the window, nobody would’ve thought that a player who’s not made his senior debut from Manchester City would be the first signing for the Hammers.
There was a lot of talk surrounding a new midfielder to replace Declan Rice and even on the left wing, one would’ve expected a more experienced face through the door.
Borges seems to be unlike most David Moyes signings and that brings a certain amount of intrigue with it.

If Moyes and the Hammers are open to sanctioning £14million to sign the 19-year-old, he’s certainly got something special to him.
Brighton and Borussia Dortmund were also keen on signing him and they’re two clubs known for roping in stellar young talents.
Hopefully, Borges is worth the hype and he can offer this Hammers attack something different.
In other West Ham news, the club have now opened advanced talks with a Premier League player who appears to be open on leaving his side this summer.
