ExWHUemployee: Nikola Vlasic on his way to West Ham

CSKA Moscow attacking midfielder Nikola Vlasic is currently on his way to London to complete a move to West Ham United, according to ExWHUemployee.

The 23-year-old Croatian international is set to have his medical after touchdown, and an announcement could be made any minute afterwards.

West Ham boss David Moyes wants to strengthen in attack this summer, and he wants Vlasic as the man for the job.

Writing on the West Ham Way Patreon while providing the latest update on the former Everton man, the trusted Hammers insider said: “Nikola Vlasic is on the way to London to complete his medical today and hopefully he announced either tonight or obviously tomorrow.”

Great move

Vlasic ended last season with 11 goals and five assists in 26 league games and was involved in 17 league goals in 2019-20.

He has been a new and transformed player since leaving Goodison Park and will be returning to the Premier League with a lot of points to prove.

Moyes is known for always getting the best out of struggling players, and he clearly fancies his chances of making the attacker a force to reckon with in the English topflight.

Having made Jesse Lingard an international player after just a five-month loan at the London Stadium, not many will doubt the West Ham boss as he looks to turn the fortunes of Vlasic in England around.

With the Croatian now set to join the Hammers, a move for Lingard could be off the cards.

The Irons have struggled to get a deal done for the Manchester United star, and it appears they have quickly moved on.
