ExWHUemployee: Nikola Milenkovic deal could still collapse

ExWHUemployee has insisted that West Ham United could still see their move for Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic collapse.

It has been reported that there are only agent fees to resolve before the Serbian travels across to the UK to complete the move.

Milenkovic is expected to seal the switch this month, but this acts as a big warning to those who think it is already done.

Speaking on the West Ham Way podcast, Ex has shared an update that will leave fans biting their nails this month.

“The transfer could still collapse,” he said.

“I think there is a strong, strong chance he will sign for West Ham, but I have seen players even closer than this, on the way to ground to sign the piece of paper and then sign for someone else.

“You can’t say it’s a done deal.”

Get it done.

We have to do everything we can to make this move impossible to turn down or collapse further down the line.

The Irons have seen far too many deals collapse before, and all the blame has gone on GSB, who need to put their money where their mouths are.

Milenkovic is expected in England sooner rather than later, and once that happens, many will start to relax.

With the fee and wages supposedly sorted, it shouldn’t be much longer before this really starts to gather pace and it is completed.

David Moyes is desperate for a defender, and should this get done this week, the rest of the window can be used looking at attackers and midfield.
