European club chief shares best position for ‘amazing’ Mohammed Kudus at West Ham United
Mohammed Kudus’ best position at West Ham is towards the right, according to his former manager Flemming Pedersen.
Pederson, who is now technical director at Ghanaian football academy Right to Dream, managed the player at Danish club FC Nordsjaelland.
Kudus joined the Hammers from Dutch giants Ajax last month on a five-year deal, as per the official West Ham website (27 August).

“He is such a technically skilful player,” Pedersen told Sky Sports. “He has these amazing individual skills. “At FC Nordsjaelland, we used him as a central midfielder, going from box to box.
“We also used him as a more offensive midfielder and as a false number nine. But I think the best position for him at West Ham, at least at the start, would be towards the right.
“Not as a right-winger, although he can go on the outside, but playing in that right half-space, and having a good offensive full-back outside him to provide depth.”

Exciting signing
Kudus has been handed just one minute by David Moyes since joining the club, but his time on the pitch can be expected to increase rapidly over the coming months, particularly with Europa League football incoming.
The Hammers will be relying on all of their players as the fixtures arrive thick and fast, and new man Kudus will undoubtedly be a central figure in claret and blue as the club look to compete in all competitions.
The attacker has already enjoyed a superb start to the new season, registering four goals and one assist in four matches for Ajax before his switch to the London Stadium.
There is plenty of excitement surrounding the 23-year-old in East London, and it is justified, with the youngster also a fully-fledged international with Ghana.
The likes of fellow attackers Jarrod Bowen and Lucas Paqueta have started the new season brightly, but they will welcome the addition of Kudus with open arms as the Hammers try and take things up a level from last season.
In other West Ham news, a rival bid is now on the cards for the Hammers to miss out on a freebie signing.
