Eintracht Frankfurt President spits dummy out over West Ham policing

West Ham United are ready to welcome Eintracht Frankfurt to the London Stadium on Thursday for the first leg of their Europa League semi-final.

Both sides will be gunning for a place in the final to take on either RB Leipzig or Rangers but there are more pressing concerns for the German club’s President Peter Fischer.

The Irons are set to increase their security and policing to prevent any Frankfurt supporters from sneaking into the home end as they did against Barcelona in the quarter-final at the Nou Camp.

West Ham

Fischer isn’t best pleased with this, for some reason, and exploded in a recent interview when questioned about the Hammers’ actions.

This is the worst [swear]. I’m ashamed of football that we’re already being threatened today: we’ll throw out anyone we catch who identifies as an Eintracht supporter,” Fischer said, as quoted by German news outlet Westphalian News.

Moronic

Maybe Fischer doesn’t realise that this isn’t Germany because what West Ham are doing is the absolute right thing to do and everybody knows it.

They should never have been allowed to have roughly 30,000 in the Nou Camp for their last European game in the first place but it’s almost like that’s what he wants every time now.

West Ham

You can bet your bottom dollar that if West Ham tried to have 30,000 enter the Frankfurt stadium in the return leg next week he would be the first to come crying out saying the English fans are an embarrassment.

The double standards would be horrific and it is a bit surprising to hear a German come out and say the rules aren’t fair given how much they love to follow them.

There is a home advantage for a reason and they will get their own slice of the pie in a week’s time so what he is complaining about is anybody’s guess.

It’s the waffling and crybaby attitude of a moron and let’s hope the Hammers truly batter Frankfurt on the pitch and see what excuse he can come out with then.

In other West Ham news, the Hammers may have a task to keep this 25-year-old in the summer with some of Europe’s biggest clubs watching closely.
