Eddie Nketiah Arsenal injury update ahead of Premier League clash v West Ham United
Eddie Nketiah has returned to first-team training ahead of Arsenal’s trip to West Ham United on Sunday, according to Football London.
Injury expert Ben Dinnery had suggested (Premier injuries) that the 23-year-old would not return until 21 April at the earliest.
However, Football London have since revealed (13 April) the Englishman has been spotted in training and could return to the matchday squad for the trip to the London Stadium.

In form
Nketiah has proven himself to be a clinical forward for Mikel Arteta’s side during their push towards the Premier League title, particularly when Gabriel Jesus was out of action after the World Cup. However, with the Brazilian now back fit and firing, it’s unlikely Nketiah will be given too many starts between now and the end of the campaign.
Nevertheless, he’s still an excellent option for Arteta to bring off the bench and could cause the Hammers problems if he is introduced on Sunday. Both sides head into the fixture with plenty of motivation. Arsenal are now firmly within reach of Manchester City and are in desperate need of three points to keep Pep Guardiola’s side at arm’s length.

As for West Ham, the win over Fulham has eased their relegation woes, but they are by no means out of trouble yet. David Moyes needs his players to start performing consistently. The win over Fulham was important but far from convincing. It will be a thankless task against the league leaders, but a positive result will pull the Hammers clear of the bottom three
