Dharmesh Sheth suggests David Moyes will plead West Ham United board for more time
Dharmesh Sheth has suggested that David Moyes will be pleading to the West Ham board to give him more time after a poor start to the season.
The Hammers find themselves 18th in the Premier League at the moment, but Moyes still retains strong support from the owners and the fans.
The Sky Sports pundit has suggested to Give Me Sport that Moyes will be telling the Hammers board to give him time to integrate new players, and the result will follow.

“Yes, results are king, but I just think Moyes will look at it and say ‘there are a lot of new players at this football club and I’m trying new formations as well’,” said Sheth to Give Me Sport.
“There are players who have left and players who have come from a different league, such as the likes of Lucas Paqueta and Gianluca Scamacca, who always need time. We’ve seen it – history has shown that they always need time to develop in the Premier League.
“I’m sure that would be David Moyes’ message to any of the doubters and to the board, if they are having any doubts. He will be saying ‘just give me time to blend these guys together’.
“If it then doesn’t work, then they may have a decision to make. But he’ll be saying ‘you’ve got to give me the opportunity to mould these players that I brought into the squad and then see the results that we can get’.”
Deserves
Moyes finds himself in a unique situation. Normally, any club would panic if they find themselves in such a situation, but this is a different case.
The former Manchester United boss has earned that right to be given more time.
When Moyes took the club, the Hammers were close to relegation. He has completely transformed the club, with the Hammers coming close to top four finishes in the past two seasons.
The Hammers also did extremely well and reached the semi-finals of the Europa League last season.

Needless to say, the board has got a lot of faith in Moyes.
They have backed Moyes with transfer funds in the summer, helping him to buy some very good players.
It also shows that the club has high ambitions, and they feel Moyes is the right man to take the club to the next level.
Having said that, Moyes will be judged on the basis of results. If the results do not improve after the international break, the club could part ways with him.
