Declan Rice not injured despite missing England training
West Ham star Declan Rice is not injured despite missing England training on Tuesday, according to Claret and Hugh.
The Hammers midfielder was seen holding his hamstring against Brentford, but he is not understood to be injured as that was nothing more than a cramp.
He is not injured so his absence from England training is mysterious and Gareth Southgate could be handing him a rest for the game against Andorra.

Seems benign
If it was an injury or even a major concern of an injury, the club would’ve got him to pull out of the squad.
While it is important to play for one’s country, the Three Lions do not need Rice’s services for games against Andorra and Hungary.
But the fact that he’s stayed on, probably means that he might be on the bench against Andorra and could be handed a start against Hungary – a game that will be played in London at Wembley.

It will be interesting to see what kind of a role he plays for Southgate’s team in that game.
Known to be a sitting midfielder predominantly, he has been asked to play an advanced role on occasion for the Hammers this season.
Given England’s lack of fluidity in midfield, we’re keen to see what sort of a role Rice is deployed in for the Three Lions.
