Declan Rice has no “great desire” to leave West Ham United at end of season – report
Declan Rice has decided that he will stay at West Ham next season despite “massive” interest from a host of clubs, according to reports by Mirror.
The England international recently turned down a fourth new contract request from the London Stadium outfit that would have made him the highest-paid player in the clubs’ history, as per Sky Sports.
Chelsea and Manchester United are two of the clubs eyeing a move for the 23-year-old in the summer transfer window.

However, there is no “great desire” for the midfielder to leave ahead of what is set to be a busy with the 2022 Qatar World Cup later this year.
Boost.
This a great news for West Ham if the reports are true.
Rice is undoubtedly the Irons’ best player and with Mark Noble leaving the club, it is crucial to have a player with the leadership qualities he does in the squad.
The influence he has on his teammates is second to none off the pitch and on the training ground but it is on the pitch where he is at his most impactful.

Having one of the Premier League’s best players at David Moyes’ disposal is a huge boost ahead of next season.
The Hammers will be looking to build on this season’s excellent campaign after pushing far into all four competitions they were in and Rice staying at the club will go a long way in doing that.
It keeps them very ambitious going into the next campaign rather than having a gaping hole to fill.
Hopefully, his value increases rather than decreases ahead of next season’s summer transfer window – when he will most likely leave.
