Dean Saunders makes new prediction live on talkSPORT ahead of West Ham United v Arsenal, ‘I’ve got a sneaky feeling’
Dean Saunders has made a new prediction ahead of the West Ham clash against Arsenal on Thursday (28 December).
Speaking on talkSPORT on Thursday, the pundit said he believes the Hammers can give any team a game on their day as they prepare to make the trip to North London.
But he added that he has a “sneaky feeling” that the Gunners are going to win the Premier League this season, with a victory over the Irons taking them back to the top of the table.

“I think West Ham, on their day, can give anyone a game,” said Saunders. “I watched them at Anfield, they were terrible. Even though they made a few changes, they were absolutely terrible. Liverpool just bullied them.
“But I look at the Arsenal team and I just think they’re ready to win the league. I’ve got a sneaky feeling that they’re going to win the league.”
Got to match them
It’s going to be a game where West Ham simply have to match the intensity that Arsenal will bring straight from the off if they want to take anything back to East London with them.
The Gunners haven’t always been free-flowing in front of goal this season, but they do tend to dominate most matches and hold the joint-best defensive record in the Premier League.
There are several attacking threats in Mikel Arteta’s side that the Hammers are going to have to be wary of, with their defence, which hasn’t been completely solid this season, likely to be in for a tough evening.

The Irons can be confident in the fact that they do also have players that can hurt the North Londoners, though, as Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus have been in fine scoring form lately.
Lucas Paqueta has also offered plenty of quality from a creative standpoint over the past few weeks, so David Moyes shouldn’t be too negative when he sets his side up at the Emirates.
In other West Ham news, Arsenal have deliberately tried to annoy Hammers fans in a social media post.
