David Sullivan remains behind David Moyes but West Ham United concerns grow
David Sullivan still backs West Ham manager David Moyes but there are growing concerns over the club’s league position, according to the Daily Mail.
The Hammers are above the relegation zone on goal difference after 18 matches played and there is a feeling that the next two Premier League encounters could decide Moyes’ fate at the London Stadium.
Sullivan, the majority shareholder of the football club, remains a believer in Moyes turning form around and dragging them away from relegation this season.

But there are murmurs around the club that pressure is mounting and the board may choose to relieve him of his duties if matches against Wolves and Everton don’t end well.
One issue the Irons are facing is a lack of funds which they realise prevents a top coach coming in although they are siding towards one with English knowledge should Moyes be given the sack.
Last-chance saloon
The FA Cup provides some brief respite for Moyes and West Ham and is not a priority for the club as a result of their precarious league position but it would be handy to win against Brentford.
The Bees breezed past the Hammers at the London Stadium on 30 January and this trip to the Community Stadium is a good chance for Moyes to show he is learning from his mistakes.

But his eyes can’t be distracted by the history and magic of the cup when he knows the next two Premier League games are critical to his job status.
Anything less than four points from those two games may well see his tenure at the London Stadium come to an end and the board would need to move very fast to find a replacement.
The sooner the decision to sack him, the better for West Ham who could do with giving the new manager time to bring in his own signings in January if at all possible.
