David Sullivan has taken charge of his final transfer window for West Ham
West Ham owner David Sullivan has taken charge of his final transfer window, according to ExWHUemployee.
The West Ham insider revealed on his Twitter account that Sullivan would no longer be in charge of transfers with Rob Newman set to join from Manchester City [The Athletic].
In the end, you could argue that Sullivan helped David Moyes, and the Hammers have definitely improved their squad apart from adding a striker.
Ex also suggested that Newman’s first task at the London Stadium could be to find a new centre-forward.
More good news for West Ham.
The fact that the Irons added Kurt Zouma, Nikola Vlasic, and Alex Kral in the closing days of the transfer window means that the Hammers had a strong transfer window.
However, taking Sullivan out of these negotiations should only benefit the Irons going forward, and you would hope it would lead to quicker deals.
Hopefully, Sullivan isn’t at the club for too much longer anyway, but the Irons did back Moyes in the end, and they should be able to compete on multiple fronts now.

The arrival of Newman is exciting, and we look forward to seeing what he can do in the transfer market with the Irons.
Still, for now, it is probably time to just reflect on Sullivan’s final transfer window, and overall, it was a pretty good one.
In other West Ham news, one Sky Sports reporter has revealed his thoughts on the Irons’ transfer window.
