David Moyes wants West Ham to sign Maxwel Cornet from Burnley in £20m deal
West Ham manager David Moyes reportedly wants to bring Burnley attacker Maxwel Cornet to the London Stadium this summer.
According to Sun journalist Alan Nixon, the Hammers manager is a fan of the left winger and the club are willing to pay £20million to sign him.
It’s understood that the Clarets are willing to sell the Ivory Coast international after they got relegated from the top flight last season.

Nixon wrote, “West Ham boss David Moyes wants Maxwel Cornet and is willing to pay £20 million for him.
“Hammers chief Moyes has cash to spend and has turned his sights to landing quick and skilful Cornet.
“Burnley are willing to sell Cornet if the deal is right.”
Sign him
Cornet had an incredible campaign for Burnley last season in which he played as a left-back, left-winger as well as a striker.
Given the Hammers’ lack of options on the left flank, it does make sense to pursue a move for the 25-year-old.
He will give Moyes the option of shifting to a back three as well as he could be deployed as a left wing-back who can bomb forward and spam crosses into the box for the towering Gianluca Scamacca.
Filip Kostic appears to be their target for left-back and there’s nobody that they seem to be pursuing seriously as a left winger.
The Hammers have already submitted a multi-million offer for the Stuttgart left-back but he seems unsure whether a move to London Stadium is the right option for him.
Regardless of the Kostic pursuit, Cornet is one player we would love seeing at the club and he would be a guaranteed starter on the left.
