David Moyes shares Danny Ings injury update ahead of West Ham United clash v Newcastle
David Moyes has shared the “good news” that Danny Ings could be available for West Ham United to face Newcastle in the Premier League on Saturday (4 February).
Ings joined the Hammers during the January window from Aston Villa, but he has played only 18 minutes in the Premier League so far.
Although Moyes added that he can guarantee whether Ings will definitely play, chances are high that the striker could be in the matchday squad after suffering an injury already.

Gianluca Scamacca is still absent with a knee injury while Maxwel Cornet and Kurt Zouma are currently injured as well.
“Danny Ings is doing quite well, he’s got a chance of being available tomorrow,” said Moyes, as quoted by football.london.
“So that’s good news for us but we’ve got to really assess it and see how he is. We’re not quite 100 per cent sure on him yet. Gianluca is not available. Kurt Zouma is not available. Maxwel Cornet is not available.”
Boost
The Hammers head to St James’ Park to face an inform Newcastle side.
There are signs of revival in recent weeks, with West Ham winning against Everton and beating Derby County in the FA Cup.
Ings made his debut against the Toffees but picked up a knock. He missed the game against the Rams, although he would have missed it anyway as he was cup-tied.
The injuries to Scamacca, Cornet and Zouma are frustrating for Moyes, but the Hammers did really well to prevent Michail Antonio from leaving the club during the January window.

Moyes needs his key players to help the club get out of this mess, and Antonio is expected to play a key part.
Newcastle have been a joy to touch under Eddie Howe and the Hammers will have to be on top of their game if they are to get something from this game.
West Ham are 16th in the league table with 18 points, just one point ahead of 18th-placed Bournemouth.
