David Moyes sack decision at West Ham may impact Tim Steidten tenure as well
David Moyes appears to be walking a tightrope in terms of receiving the sack as West Ham suffered a 6-0 defeat against Arsenal on Sunday.
HITC reported on 12 February that while David Sullivan wants to keep hold of the Scotsman who guided his team to a European trophy last season, frustrations have been ongoing behind the scenes.
The Hammers owner is also not impressed with Tim Stediten and clashes behind closed doors have led to the club missing out on their targets.
Fans are also disappointed with how things are going and have made things very clear recently.
Moyes even threw Steidten under the bus on transfer deadline day and those comments haven’t sat well with the club.
A few more results like the Arsenal one and Moyes could finally be sacked and keeping his animosity aside with Steidten, the German has not really been a success at the London Stadium.
Sullivan may just look to wipe the slate clean and get in a new technical director who’ll aid with the search for a new manager and both Moyes and Steidten can be sacked together.
By removing both, the club can signal a fresh start and create space for a new sporting director to shape the club’s vision.
This new director can then collaboratively select a manager who aligns with their philosophy, creating a harmonious relationship from the start.

With a united front, the club can focus on rebuilding both on the pitch and in the transfer market, fostering stability and progress for the future.
