David Moyes reveals aspirations to manage Scotland
West Ham boss David Moyes has stated he is open to managing Scotland in the future.
The Scotsman is on the back of a phenomenal season, guiding the Hammers to Europa League qualification.
While he’s prepared for a new season in Europe, he has also been frank about his aspirations to manage his national side one day.

“Yeah, I do now,” Moyes told BBC Sportsround when asked if he has ambitions to manage Scotland.
“I’m getting now to a stage in my career where I really enjoy club management and feel I have unfinished business to do yet.
“But I think at the right time, when things are right for me and if it’s right for Scotland, then it might be a consideration.”
Worrying
The fact that he mentions ‘At the right time’ gives us some hope as he’s not considering joining them immediately. Moyes has been a terrific manager and the best in our recent history.
When he walked through the door at the London Stadium, most people had already written him off as a flop, but they’ve all been proven wrong now.

He’s brought about consistency in the team, bridged the divide in some way between fans and the owners, and has also overseen a drastic change in our recruitment policy.
We’ve become a more likeable team and easier on the eye as he’s come in with a fixed philosophy and has stuck to his guns despite initial setbacks. The dressing room appears to be a more lively place and we’re excited to see how well this team turns up for next season.
Losing Moyes would be a huge blow, especially if he continues succeeding at West Ham, but we’re aware that if Scotland come knocking in a few years, he could be tempted to leave.
