David Moyes suggests if West Ham United will sign Ross Barkley
David Moyes has refused to rule out a move for Ross Barkley as West Ham are eyeing some late deals in the summer transfer window.
The Hammers have completed their eighth signing of the summer this week, but Moyes has suggested that they could look to bring more players in the next few days.
One of them could be Barkley, who left Chelsea this week after his contract was terminated.

“I would never rule anybody out but I’ve got to say on Ross, I gave him his debut at 16 and he’s had a really good career,” said Moyes, as quoted by Football London (30 August).
“He’s played for England and played for big clubs. If it is not us, I wish him well wherever he does go.
“I think sometimes when you are in this situation, you have got maybe a little bit more to prove because you have to come back and show people exactly what you are.”
Worth gamble?
Barkley would be a gamble signing for the Hammers, but it is probably worth taking the risk.
The fact that he would come on a free transfer makes it a risk-free business. However, he needs to lower his wage demands, if he wants to continue his career in the Premier League.
David Moyes gave him his debut and got the best out of him during his time at Everton, and he certainly feels that Barkley still has got a lot to offer.

The England international has scored 46 goals in his club career. His move to Chelsea didn’t work out well for him, as he expected, but he should look to resurrect his career elsewhere.
At 28, he should be playing at the peak of his form. This could be his best chance to reignite his career if West Ham make an offer for him.
Known for his energy and driving runs, he could be a solid addition to the squad.
