David Moyes may regret Said Benrahma decision as West Ham United XI emerges v Brighton

David Moyes has named his West Ham XI to take on Brighton in the Premier League at the London Stadium on Tuesday, 3 December.

Said Benrahma has been named in the eleven despite his struggles against Arsenal and he’s also been linked with the exit door.

The Hammers signed him for £25million back in 2021 and he’s done little to live up to the price tag thus far.

Looking at the bench, this could’ve been a good game for Divin Mubama to start in and hopefully, the Algerian does not let him down.

The Hammers should fancy their chances heading into the game against Brighton for several reasons.

Firstly, they are enjoying a good run of form with three consecutive Premier League wins, boosting their confidence and elevating them to sixth place with 33 points.

Additionally, the recent history of overcoming Brighton in the previous encounter, securing a 3-1 victory with goals from James Ward-Prowse, Jarrod Bowen, and Michail Antonio, provides evidence that West Ham can perform well against the Seagulls.

The win temporarily placed the Hammers at the top of the Premier League table, showcasing their capability to compete against challenging opponents.

Furthermore, the home advantage at the London Stadium should play in their favour, with the support of their passionate fans likely to create a vibrant atmosphere.

Brighton have looked shaky all season and their defence has been leaky so the Hammers can fancy their chances of finding the back of the net.

In other West Ham news, the highest source at the Hammers has issued an update on a 2023 award winner to replace David Moyes as a sack update emerges.
