David Moyes makes West Ham trophy admission ahead of FA Cup clash
West Ham manager David Moyes has stated he will ‘do everything’ to win the FA Cup.
The Irons welcome Leeds United to the London Stadium for their third-round clash on Sunday (January 9).
Moyes outlined his aspirations as the Hammers look to move past Marcelo Bielsa’s team to reach the next round of the competition.

“It would make me smile if we could do it as well!” he said when asked if his team could win the FA Cup in the Irons pre-Leeds press conference.
“At this point, of course I want to win the FA Cup and will do everything I can do to do that, but every other manager will say that.
“We’ve been given a difficult draw. We’re at home and there is no replay, so hopefully we can use London Stadium and our support to get us over the line.”
Trophies targeted
For years West Ham managers, players and fans have half-heartedly spoken of winning trophies.
However, there is a real sense of belief around the club at the moment and with the squad and manager we boast, it is very much within the Hammers grasp.

Our trophy chances suffered a huge blow after disappointingly falling short against Tottenham in the quarter finals of the EFL Cup. But the Irons have two remaining chances to claim silverware this season.
Everybody knows the magic of the FA Cup and West Ham won’t need a miracle like some lower league sides might. First the Hammers must get past a very tough Premier League opponent, Leeds.
After that everyone in East London will be hopeful for a kind draw from here on out in the competition.
West Ham also find themselves in the round of 16 in the Europa League having won their group with ease, another tournament they have the potential to go all the way in.
Cup football is anyone’s game and hopefully those in claret & blue can cause some upset this season and claim some long awaited silverware.
