David Moyes makes resignation decision at West Ham United as sources close to him reveal all
David Moyes has decided against resigning as the West Ham United manager despite talk of him potentially becoming a director of football, according to Alan Nixon.
The Sun journalist reported via his Patreon page on Sunday (12 November) that Moyes wants to continue as a manager, “ideally at West Ham”.
It is understood that the 60-year-old’s contract is up at the end of the season and while no talks have taken place yet, Nixon claims “insiders” believe they will happen soon.

Nixon adds that “sources close” to the former Everton and Manchester United manager “scoffed” at the idea of him becoming a director of football and if he is axed by West Ham, he will aim to win another managerial job in the Premier League.
David Sullivan reportedly wants Moyes to stay, as do most of the senior players at the London Stadium.
Going nowhere – yet
We find it odd that so much talk is appearing about Moyes’ future in East London.
This man has taken us to European competitions more times than he hasn’t and last season led the club to their first major piece of silverware in decades.

He should have the safest job in the Premier League if anything.
West Ham’s Premier League campaign might not be going all too swimmingly with the club 13th in the table and with no wins in their last four games.
However, we’re on course for qualifying for the Europa League knock-out stages and we’re also in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup.
We’d take a bottom half Premier League finish in order to win more silverware or to have more magical runs in Europe.
What’s the point in finishing sixth and winning nothing?
Moyes has made us all fall in love with West Ham again.
He shouldn’t be going anywhere.
In other West Ham news, Fabrizio Romano has also provided a managerial update for the Hammers.
