David Moyes is doomed as West Ham United news drops on London Stadium sack
David Moyes is “doomed” at West Ham United as he continues to face immense pressure over the sack, according to Daniel Storey.
The iNews journalist has shared that he was told Moyes will continue at the club despite West Ham’s 2-0 defeat against Brentford on Friday (30 December).
Storey suggests that Moyes’ future is “likely to be sorted out soon” and unless something drastic happens, he is likely to be sacked at the London Stadium.

“We are told that this is not yet the end of the David Moyes era Pt II at West Ham. Either way, it’s likely to be sorted out soon,” wrote Storey for INews.
“West Ham’s next three games are all away from home: Leeds, Brentford, Wolves. Unless something drastic happens – by which we mean West Ham actually look capable of creating chances from open play – Moyes is doomed.
“West Ham have now lost five successive league matches for the first time since April 2017, a run that ultimately ended his him being appointed for the first time.”
Spot on
Moyes has done a terrific job at the club but he is now losing his control.
The results have been poor and the club find themselves in a relegation battle, despite spending over £150 million in the summer. To be honest, that’s the problem with Moyes, and the club will have to pay the price.
Moyes is fantastic when he is working on tight budgets, working with young talents and when he is building unity and morale in a group.

However, it has been proved time and again that he doesn’t know how to work with big-money signings. He can overachieve with a small group but looks completely out of depth when the club spends big in the market to fulfil their ambition of reaching the next level.
Moyes struggled to get the best out of Nikola Vlasic, and he looks completely clueless at the moment on how to manage the likes of Gianluca Scamacca and Lucas Paqueta.
It looks like his time at the club is coming to an end.
