David Moyes has “no idea” on West Ham ace Jarrod Bowen’s return
David Moyes has admitted he has “no idea” if West Ham star Jarrod Bowen will be back in time for the second leg of the Irons Europa League tie against Sevilla.
The Hammers suffered a 1-0 defeat at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium tonight (March 10) but will be encouraged by their strong performance.
Moyes admitted Bowen’s injury situation is up in the air ahead of the return fixture at the London Stadium next week.

The Scot told football.london: “I have no idea at the moment. We are still trying to clear up exactly the injury, in all the scans and information we have it does not look too bad but his action coming off the pitch at Anfield made it look more serious than we thought.
“And that has not added up. Since then, Jarrod is slightly improving but not as fast as we hoped, we did not think it was anything serious. So, we are still trying to get to the bottom of it. Maybe tomorrow we get back and Jarrod is okay, it could just be one of those things.”
Fingers crossed
Hopefully the Hammers star man is back for the biggest game of their season so far, next week at home.
Even with Bowen in recent weeks, West Ham’s form in front of goal has been terrible and it needs to improve if they want to achieve their targets come the end of the season.

If the winger had been on the pitch tonight it wouldn’t be hard to envisage him carrying the team to victory or at least scoring a goal.
He would have buried Nikola Vlasic’s first half shocker with the Croatian firing his tame header right at the Sevilla goalkeeper.
His return at the London Stadium will be the boost the team need to overturn the disappointing result suffered in Seville.
Moyes will be desperate to get him back into action in conjunction with the home fans making the difference for the second leg. The London Stadium will be rocking and hopefully the players can live up the occasion by advancing into the next round.
