David Moyes happy to sanction Issa Diop exit at West Ham if replacement found first – ExWHUemployee
David Moyes is happy to sanction the exit of West Ham United defender Issa Diop on one condition, according to ExWHUemployee.
The reliable source has reported that if the Irons can sign a replacement beforehand, Diop will be allowed to leave.
Newcastle have been strongly linked this month, with talks being held between the two clubs before Monday’s deadline.

Writing on the West Ham Way Patreon page (27/01, 09:03 pm) Ex shared the latest on Diop potentially leaving the London Stadium.
“Reports have linked Issa Diop to Newcastle,” he wrote.
“We can confirm that there is interest and that discussions have happened however the club have said that they will not sell him unless a replacement is found.
“At this point, there is no replacement close, so any move for Diop cannot be sanctioned, whether or not he would want the move as well is unclear.
“If a replacement is found, that Moyes is happy to sanction then the deal can happen. “

Mistake?
It would be a massive error to sanction this exit before any replacement is found at the London Stadium, so this is smart.
With that in mind, any exit for Diop is certainly unlikely as things stand with no progress being made.
Names such as Duje Caleta-Car have been mentioned consistently, but that doesn’t look to have got off the ground so far.
Moyes doesn’t have loads of options, so letting any player leave, never mind just Diop, would be a big error to make.
Games will now be coming thick and fast for the Irons, with the FA Cup and Europa League now running alongside the Premier League.
No chance of this happening yet, but things can change quickly in the final days of the window – one to watch.
