David Moyes delighted by West Ham United situation ahead of Leicester clash in ‘snapped your hand off’ verdict
West Ham United boss David Moyes declared his satisfaction with “no real problems”, ahead of the clash with Leicester City on the final day of the Premier League season, as told to the club’s official website.
Unlike their opponents, the Hammers have no such worries about relegation to the Championship, having seen off the threat in recent weeks.
Moyes provided an emphatic response on the end-of-season upturn for his side, stating that he would have “snapped your hand off” for this outcome when things looked bleak at an earlier stage.

The veteran boss was grounded, as usual, in his preview of the game at the King Power Stadium, with their showpiece European final to follow on 07 June.
“I take every game one at a time, that’s all we ever do,” he said.
“We see a chance to get another league place higher up and we’re all well aware of the value of that in the Premier League.
“I think if you’d given me this position a few weeks ago I’d have snapped your hand off because we don’t go into the last day with any real problems.
“More importantly, we go into it as well knowing we’ve got a cup final in a week or so’s time.”

Final preparations
Moyes must decide on what approach to take in the game against Leicester.
It will be a balancing act, between giving the first-choice team vital minutes ahead of Prague, as well as not taking any undue risks.
The intensity won’t quite be there for the Hammers, as much as they will want to round off their domestic campaign with three points.
For the likes of Declan Rice and Michail Antonio, there isn’t much to gain from their inclusion against Dean Smith’s side who will be scrapping to save the Premier League lives, with a win representing the minimum they need in their efforts to stay up.
West Ham have a date with destiny in just over a week and these final preparations will be about fine-tuning ahead of the epic encounter in the Czech capital.
Moyes and the rest would snap off just about anything in order to deliver the club’s first significant trophy since 1980!
