David Moyes confirms Arthur Masuaku injury blow for West Ham v Leicester City clash
West Ham are unlikely to be able to call upon the services of left-back Arthur Masuaku for the Leicester City game on Monday, confirms David Moyes.
According to Claret and Hugh, the Hammers defender was in contention to return to the bench after being out of action since February.
However, Moyes, in his pre-game press conference, said the club are working to get him back to full fitness.

Per the club’s official website, he said, “We’ve got one or two knocks and niggles. We’re still trying to get Arthur Masuaku back from a knee problem.
“Apart from that, I think we’re pretty much okay; one or two knocks and niggles, but everything else seems okay.”
When asked about whether he thinks any transfers will happen, he responded, “I do. I hope to do some more business.”
Need him back soon
Our transfer window thus far has been a disaster and while we have been linked with several left-backs, it seems we’re unlikely to sign anyone.
Aaron Cresswell is performing week in and week out, but there must be only so much gas left in his tank as he’s already 31 and could need replacing in a year.

Masuaku has a few more years to go before he reaches Cresswell’s age, and he also gives Moyes the option of deploying him on the left-hand side of midfield.
He can also play as Cresswell’s understudy and come on for him in the second half as the Englishman was looking visibly tired against Newcastle.
Cresswell was also responsible for conceding one of the two goals and more mistakes like that could see him losing his spot in the playing eleven.
Hopefully, we can call upon Masuaku’s services very soon.
