David Moyes backed to spill hot tea ahead of West Ham United v Chelsea

Richard Keys has backed David Moyes to spill “hot tea” live on beINSPORTS ahead of West Ham v Chelsea on Saturday (21 September).

The former Hammers manager is set to join the channel’s sports coverage, with Julen Lopetegeui set to face another tough test against Enzo Maresca’s side at the London Stadium.

Moyes has stepped into the world of media since ending his tenure with the Irons, having experienced a disheartening final campaign in charge of the East London side.

Taking to X on Saturday (21 September), Keys wrote: “David Moes is in the house today. I’m looking forward to him spilling the tea. Hot tea,” followed by laughing emojis.

David Moyes to hit out at West Ham United on beIN SPORTS?

Moyes has been nothing short of respectful of the club since parting ways earlier this summer, even despite the continuous barrage of criticism from the fans.

His final season saw the Hammers knocked out of the Europa League while also finishing ninth in the Premier League, only conceding fewer goals than Luton Town, Burnley and Sheffield United.

The Scot’s exit from the London Stadium was an extremely uncomfortable saga for all involved, but the Irons have now moved on with new head coach Julen Lopetegui.

While the Spaniard has only been able to win four points from his first four Premier League matches in charge, the fans have plenty to be encouraged about in the early signs.

Moyes was often slammed for his defensive style of play, and Lopetegui has already added a much more coherent attack with the likes of Lucas Paqueta, Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus.

The former manager still clearly has so much love for the Hammers and is unlikely to disrespect them in any way when he appears on live television on Saturday.
