Darren Gough suggests West Ham will sign players in January window
Darren Gough has suggested on talkSPORT that West Ham boss David Moyes must sign a few players in the January transfer window.
The Hammers are third in the Premier League table heading into this international break after defeating Liverpool 3-2 on Sunday.
West Ham have been outstanding in the Europa League as well, and have qualified for the knock-out rounds.

Following the injury to Angelo Ogbonna, who has suffered an anterior cruciate injury, Gough has suggested that Moyes should bring in a couple of good players.
“They’ve been very quiet [in the summer]. But they might come out and spend a few. They’ve got the backing now. The atmosphere is rocking. They are selling full house most of the time,” said Gough to talkSPORT.
“The club is in a good place. They have got a good manager. They have got good players. There’s a passion among the fans. So for me, it’s a no brainer. They have to go out and bring in a couple of good players in January.”
Spot on
Gough is absolutely spot on here. If West Ham don’t back their manager now, then when will they?
The Hammers have got a really good chance of finishing in the top four this season, and Moyes should be given funds to add more quality to the side.

The owners should give him a decent transfer budget to bring the right profile of players of his choice.
The injury to Ogbonna has opened the door to a potential arrival of a new defender. However, the club need to sign a striker which should be their top priority.
This is one area where West Ham could struggle if they don’t address it in January. Michail Antonio remains the lone striker at the club, while the likes of Jarrod Bowen and Said Benrahma have played up front in his absence.
Moyes should look to bring at least two players in January.
