West Ham United: Darren Bent names Graham Potter as ‘absolutely unbelievable’ replacement for David Moyes
Darren Bent believes Graham Potter would be the ideal replacement for David Moyes at West Ham amid the ongoing sack speculation.
Speaking on talkSPORT on Monday (6 November), the pundit said it would be “interesting to see” what type of manager the Hammers would look to appoint if they were to move on from the Scotsman.
He added that Potter would be an “absolutely unbelievable fit” for the Irons due to the players that they currently have in their squad.
“It would be interesting to see what type of manager they do want because I think Potter would be a great fit,” said Bent. “With the players they’ve got, he would be an absolutely unbelievable fit.”
Style of play
There is still quite a lot that needs to happen before West Ham are in a position to appoint a new manager as Moyes is seemingly safe in his role for now.
But that could quickly change over the course of the next couple of weeks if the results – and the performances – don’t improve on the back of some disappointing results lately.
Potter would be an intriguing appointment based on his excellent work at Brighton before taking on what was always going to be a difficult job at Chelsea last season.

There are players in the Hammers side that would certainly suit the style of play the Englishman likes to operate with, as he looks for his players to get on the ball and dominate possession.
He would be someone who would surely come under consideration, but it just depends on how the board feel about him after his time at Stamford Bridge.
In other West Ham news, Martin Keown has raged at a “criminal” incident involving a Hammers player against Brentford.
