Crystal Palace v West Ham United: Jefferson Lerma update shared, another back in contention
Oliver Glasner has confirmed that Jefferson Lerma will play no part against West Ham this weekend due to injury.
Lerma, who has started 27 of Palace’s 32 Premier League games this season, sustained the hamstring injury against Liverpool last weekend.
As per Palace’s official X account [19 April], Marc Guehi is also still out, while Chris Richards, Joel Ward and Will Hughes are doubtful.
In more positive news for West Ham’s opponents, Rob Holding is back in the squad after training all week.
Crystal Palace vs West Ham team news
Palace being without Lerma can only be good news for the Hammers given how important he is to the side.
The hosts for Sunday’s (21 April) clash at Selhurst Park are clearly quite depleted – or will be if their doubts miss out – but so to are West Ham.
David Moyes confirmed earlier on Friday (19 April) that Jarrod Bowen, Nayef Aguerd and Konstantinos Mavropanos are to be assessed.

Given the tight turnaround between this match and the Europa League tie with Bayer Leverkusen, other changes could well be made.
As disappointing as the Europa League exit was, United still have plenty to play for in the Premier League.
And that is why all focus must now be on this London derby as three points could prove valuable in the battle to finish in the top six.
In other West Ham news, Dermot Gallagher shared a “lucky” verdict regarding a contentious issue that happened in the loss to Fulham.
