Crystal Palace make transfer push as West Ham and Brentford hold talks for PSG striker Hugo Ekitike
Crystal Palace have now come in strong for PSG striker Hugo Ekitike while West Ham and Brentford have already held talks for him, per 90 Min.
The media outlet reported on its website that the quest to sign the French forward has taken another twist with a move to Eintracht Frankfurt looking unlikely.
Sports Zone reported that the Hammers are willing to pay the £34million PSG want in order to sell the 21-year-old.
90 Min also took to Twitter to write, “Crystal Palace have now come in strong for Hugo Ekitike – West Ham and Brentford already had talks.PSG wanted him to go to Eintracht Frankfurt as part of Randal Kolo Muani transfer, but they will sanction move to England.”
Three-way chase
It looks like he wants to move to the Premier League and a move to Frankfurt does not really tempt him.
One cannot blame him for that as it is the best league in the world and he’ll put himself on the stage where he can dream of joining another big club.

West Ham do not want to be seen as a stepping stone but if he can be here for two or three seasons and fire 20 goals in all competitions regularly, not only will be become a French international by then, clubs will be willing to pay astronomical fees for him.
It remains to be seen which club acts the quickest and pays the money to PSG as they’re not going to let him leave for a cheap fee.
He’s certainly got what it takes to become a quality striker in the coming years and being outshone by the likes of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar should not take away from that fact.
In other West Ham news, the club have now opened advanced talks with a Premier League player who appears to be open to leaving his side this summer.
