Claret and Hugh: Armando Broja keen to stay in London after West Ham United approach
West Ham United have received a boost in their pursuit of Armando Broja with the Chelsea striker preferring “to remain in London” according to Claret and Hugh.
It was reported by The Daily Mail on 4 July that the Hammers along with Everton have officially declared their interest in the 20-year-old forward.
Newcastle are also said to be eying a loan deal for the Chelsea forward as reported by Sky Sports on 3 July.

However, West Ham have received a boost in their hunt for Broja, with club website Claret and Hugh suggesting on 5 July that the Irons “hold a small ace” with the player preferring to “remain in London”.
Far from finished
Broja would be the ideal striking addition for David Moyes if he can land the forward.
However, this transfer saga feels as if it is far from over with Broja’s future still a long way from being decided at present.
The striker is still potentially wanted by Thomas Tuchel at Stamford Bridge which could mean his future is not decided until later on in the transfer window.

Moyes should be looking to add the striker to his ranks with the Hammers overusing Michail Antonio at times in the 2021/22 campaign.
The Albanian would be a progressive signing for the Hammers that would satisfy their short-term and long-term needs.
Let’s hope the draw of remaining in London is a key sticking point for the striker, as the financial might of Newcastle could prove to be too much for the Hammers to contend with.
This has the feeling of a transfer that will rumble on and on.
