Christian Stellini shares Tottenham injury update ahead of West Ham United clash
Tottenham Hotspur have no fresh injury concerns heading into their Premier League clash against West Ham United.
Rodrigo Bentancur, Ryan Sessegnon, Hugo Lloris and Yves Bissouma are all long-term absentees from Antonio Conte’s squad.
Christian Stellini is the man to take charge of Spurs against the Hammers due to Conte recovering from an operation in Italy, and the Italian didn’t notify the press of any fresh concerns.

“It’s more important than football and this is the reason why the club, Antonio and the doctor’s made this decision,” said Stellini (Football London, 17 February).
“We don’t know the time. The doctor has an idea but really it’s a feeling from Antonio. That surgery was not easy, it was an emergency surgery and maybe he underestimate this. Antonio, not 100% is not Antonio, and this creates stress.”
Opportunity
Playing Spurs away may well seem like a daunting task for Moyes’ men but there’s a real opportunity here for the Hammers. Leeds and Everton are playing each other at Goodison Park, which could see West Ham put some distance between themselves and the bottom three.
Moyes’ men are currently two points above the Toffees, who occupy the final relegation berth. A win on Sunday afternoon could see the Irons extend the gap to five points and put some daylight in between them and their relegation rivals.

Tottenham have endured an inconsistent season to date and are there for the taking if the Hammers put in the correct performance. Antonio Conte’s side are coming off of a hugely disappointing 4-1 defeat to Leicester City and have also been dealt a couple of big injury blows in recent weeks.
This weekend certainly have the feeling of a pivotal one in the relegation battle and Moyes will be hoping the outcome is eventually positive for the Irons.
