Chris Sutton predicts result of West Ham United Premier League clash v Luton Town
Pundit Chris Sutton has predicted the result of the Premier League clash between West Ham United and Luton Town.
The Hammers travel to Kenilworth Road for the top-flight match on Friday (1 September) sitting second in the league table.
Their opponents, who were promoted from the Championship last season, currently sit 19th after their two matches, with West Ham having played three times.

Predicting a 2-0 win for West Ham, Sutton told BBC Sport: “I always think Luton staying in the Premier League is going to be a tall order. They’ve had a difficult start. It’s their first home game in the league because they needed to get their stadium up to scratch.
“West Ham are off to an absolute flyer. Not many people saw them beating Brighton and they did it with 22% possession. I don’t think this will be straightforward but I think West Ham will win the game.”

Easy win?
On paper, it looks set to be an easy win for the away team, given both their start to the new season and Luton’s early struggles.
The travelling side really are flying high this season, much to the shock of many, defeating both Chelsea and Brighton 3-1 following their opening day 1-1 draw with Bournemouth.
Luton meanwhile have been beaten convincingly by the Seagulls and the Blues, losing 4-1 and 3-0 respectively. But now they will finally get to play in front of their own fans, and that home advantage could really help them in their quest to stop the Hammers.
The club should put up a real fight after working so hard to get into the division, but the experience and class of their opponents are more than likely to help them prevail.
The Hammers look much stronger than they did in the Premier League last season, although their squad depth will really be put to the test when their Europa League campaign gets underway.
In other West Ham news, David Moyes has shared a Hammers transfer update as the deadline approaches.
