Chris Sutton predicts result of West Ham Premier League clash v Liverpool
Chris Sutton has predicted Liverpool to simply get the job done against West Ham after their recent win against defending champions Manchester City.
It was a different sort of performance from Jurgen Klopp’s men but it was enough to get the job done while the Hammers failed to beat Southampton.
Despite being the better team, David Moyes’ side failed to take their chances and came away from that game with just a point.

Sutton told the BBC, predicting a 3-1 win for Liverpool, “I have taken a lot of flak from Liverpool fans recently.
“I love it when supporters come out afterwards, like they did after beating Manchester City, and are wise after the event, but then basically admit that, beforehand, they were feeling along the same lines as my prediction.
“Still, you couldn’t fail to be impressed with the way Liverpool played against City, especially the back-line who were excellent.
“There was a period in the second half where the crowd really got up and backed them and Anfield was bouncing again.
“I think they will continue in the right direction here, helped by the fact West Ham are so stretched at the back, although I do fancy Gianluca Scamacca to grab a goal for the Hammers.”
Tough one
The Hammers are going to find it hard to get the job done against a resurgent Liverpool side, especially after their win against City.
They seem to have found their mojo again and will be looking to make things hard for West Ham as they aim to return to the top four.
Moyes really needs to get his team selection right for this one and we could see Michail Antonio starting because of what he can offer on the break.
Playing him out wide could even see him getting the best of Gianluca Scamacca who needs to keep playing and get used to life in the English top flight.
Hopefully, the Hammers make life difficult for the Reds and show them their physical side from minute one.
It’s obviously easier said than done and any point from this one would be a good result for Moyes and we’re hoping to see that.
