Chelsea exit: Graham Potter agreement emerges ahead of West Ham move
Graham Potter will bring Kyle Macaulay from Chelsea to West Ham when he replaces Julen Lopetegui, according to GIVEMESPORT.
The online outlet reported (8 January) that the former Brighton manager has agreed on a six-month deal with the Hammers that could lead to a two-and-a-half-year contract based on performances.
It also states that recruitment analyst Macaulay will follow Potter to the London Stadium from Stamford Bridge, where he is currently employed.
The Scot has worked under the 49-year-old at every club he has managed and the relationship looks set to continue in East London.
West Ham shake-up starting to take place
With Potter seemingly set to replace Lopetegui at the Irons, the backroom shake-up is beginning to take place.
Sporting director Tim Steidten could be the next to lose his job at the London Stadium as his stint has been extremely underwhelming.
The Hammers spent over £100 million in the summer and the majority of their signings including the likes of Niclas Fullkrug and Crysencio Summerville, have failed to make a significant impact in the Premier League.

Potter is an exciting appointment due to his record at Brighton and Swansea and the connections he brings are also a big draw.
He could potentially lure Dan Ashworth as well as Macaulay to East London, the sporting director who was absolutely vital to his success with the Seagulls.
The Hammers are making positive moves and hopefully, this will result in positive happenings on the pitch after the dismal Lopetegui era comes to a chaotic end.
In other West Ham news, an “extraordinary” Lopetegui update has emerged from Rush Green on Wednesday, 8 January.
