Chelsea could use £200m war chest for West Ham ace Declan Rice
Chelsea can not be ruled out of a move for West Ham midfielder Declan Rice in the summer after the club’s recent takeover, according to Dean Jones.
The west Londoners are set for a £200million war chest from Todd Boehly as Thomas Tuchel looks to “revamp” his squad in the summer.
Which could leave the Hammers vulnerable in their attempts to keep the England international with him being said to be a “big asset” amid his uncertain London Stadium future.

Jones told GIVEMESPORT: “On the back of the takeover getting the green light and talk of a £200m war chest, let’s not discount the possibility that Chelsea go back for Declan Rice.
“This Chelsea squad needs a revamp, players will leave, but Rice could be such a big asset and I’m told his name is still discussed as a potential signing.”
Terrible.
This is the last thing that the Irons need ahead of the transfer window. It looked as if they were going to keep the 23-year-old for at least another season but this has put a spanner in the works.
Rice, understandably, wouldn’t want to go to Manchester United because it is hardly a step up from life at West Ham as Erik ten Hag looks to fix the mess they are in.

Stamford Bridge seems to be somewhere he might not be able to turn down and if they come in with a massive offer for him – that might be very difficult to turn down.
He is a London boy who has played for Chelsea in the past and might want to go back and prove himself having not made it there as a youth.
As much as the Hammers want to keep hold of their star man – selling him whilst he is still contracted to the club would be a smart thing to do.
They could get serious money from Tuchels side that is under new ownership whereas next year, he could leave for free which would be a huge sense of injustice. The Irons have a big decision to make.
