Cardiff City set for West Ham United transfer meeting, Aji Alese loan wanted next season – report

Cardiff City are set for a transfer meeting with West Ham United over the next week, according to Wales Online.

The online outlet shared on their website that the Bluebirds are looking to get their transfer dealings over the line early over the summer.

Aji Alese is the man coming under the radar, with a loan move on the cards to the Championship club.

Cardiff are set to be busy by the sound of things, with numerous meetings with other Premier League clubs set up.

Arsenal, Southampton, Crystal Palace and Brighton are all mentioned too, with limits on how many loans clubs can have the EFL.

It is said that Alese is no doubt to be looking for another loan move away after spells at Accrington Stanley and Cambridge.

The versatility of the England youth international is said to appeal to the Bluebirds ahead of a big Championship push.

Competition.

It is shared that Cardiff won’t be the only club interested, with a war no doubt ahead for one of our brightest talents.

Getting the odd minute here and there in the senior side is all well and good, but our young players will want senior football consistently next season.

Cardiff have proved they can blood young talents from the Premier League this season, with Leeds and Manchester City profiting.

Cody Drameh and Tommy Doyle have both shined in the Welsh capital this season, and Alese could be the next in line.

David Moyes will be looking to bring in another centre-back over the summer, and that only lessens Alese’s chance of breaking through.

Conor Coventry has gone away this season and shined at MK Dons, so that looks as though that may be the way forward.

Let’s see how this meeting goes.
