Brighton v West Ham preview: Team news, lineups, supercomputer prediction

Graham Potter will be preparing his West Ham side for the away clash against Brighton in the Premier League on Saturday.

The Hammers are coming off the back of a draw against Southampton, where a Jarrod Bowen strike was cancelled out by Lesley Ugochukwu.

Now Potter will take his side to the south coast to face his former side at the Amex on 26 April, with the Englishman wanting to get back to winning ways.

Preview

There is no doubt that the Irons are in a rough patch of form and have struggled to find their feet in the Premier League this campaign.

Under the English head coach and Julen Lopetegui, the struggles have been consistent, and that could end in a 17th-place finish in the Premier League.

This comes after failing to secure a single win in March or April, to this point, which is far from good enough for the East London club.

Brighton have also had a frustrating season under Fabian Hurzeler, but the difference is, the German could still secure European football for his side.

As a result, they will be eying a clash against the E20 as a way to push themselves back up the table after losing three of their last four.

Team News

There could be players sidelined for both sides at the Amex as the season begins to catch up with many first-team stars.

For the travelling side, Potter could be without Crysencio Summerville and, of course, Michail Antonio.

This list could prove to cause problems for the Irons, given how much quality will be missing from the claret and blue side’s squad.
