It would take a huge bid for Bournemouth to sell the West Ham, Tottenham and Newcastle-linked Dominic Solanke, according to the Sun.

The news outlet reported on 30 January that Spurs are considering making a late £50million plus swoop for the 26-year-old striker.

They also claim that Bournemouth had rejected an offer from the Hammers to sign the former Chelsea and Liverpool forward in the summer.

Forget it

Signing Solanke is going to be nigh on impossible for the Hammers ahead of the transfer deadline.

Bournemouth's prior rejection of interest from the club suggests a lack of willingness to engage in negotiations.

Additionally, the hefty valuation proposed by Spurs, understood to be £50m-plus, sets a high financial bar that West Ham may struggle to meet given their budgetary constraints.

The intense competition for Solanke's signature, fueled by Spurs and Newcastle's interest and substantial bid, further complicates matters for the Hammers, diminishing their chances of securing the striker.

Bournemouth's proactive search for potential replacements in European leagues underscores their readiness for Solanke's potential departure, indicating a preparedness to part ways but also reducing West Ham's leverage.

Moreover, Solanke's personal preferences and ambitions may favour a move to a club like Tottenham over West Ham as they're expected to qualify for the Champions League and offer higher wages.
