Tomas Soucek equalised in the second half after Manuel Lanzini found him in the box with a delicious free-kick.

Here is how West Ham Zone rated the players below.

Lukasz Fabianski 5

The Polish goalkeeper had no chance to keep the goal out after it hit the woodwork and Weghorst scored on the rebound. Got lucky with the penalty, but was there any need to make a challenge in the box?

Ben Johnson 2

There’s very little from his going forward. He kept possession and played out safe backward passes most of the time. So poor of him to give away possession cheaply that resulted in a penalty in the first half. He wasted several good opportunities to deliver a first-time cross, much to the frustration of his teammates.

Craig Dawson 6

Dawson, as usual, was steady at the back. Constantly played out long balls from the back, and he was alert with clearances. Made a couple of superb interceptions and helped in the break-up play.

Issa Diop7

The French defender looked solid throughout the game and won a few ariel duels. He made some good clearances and a couple of interceptions during the game. Diop nearly scored the winner but Pope made a brilliant save to deny him.

Aaron Cresswell 6

Made a very good attempt to score in the first half with his trademark volley but it was clear off the line. He whipped in a dangerous ball from a free-kick but Rice couldn’t hit the target.

Declan Rice 7

Once again, he led from the front. He made some gorgeous passes in the first half and showed great energy. Made some trademark runs in the box in the second half, when he played further up the pitch.

West Ham

Tomas Soucek8

He could have done better in clearing the rebound from which Wout Weghorst nodded over the line. He couldn’t meet the cross from Lanzini after getting into a good position. Scored a crucial equaliser, which might have hit his arm. Cleared the ball on the goal-line to deny Burnley a chance to score.

Jarrod Bowen6

Nick Pope made a superb one-handed save to keep out Bowen in the first half. Made a superb run in the second half, but couldn’t manage to get his efforts on target.

Manuel Lanzini 7

He hardly made an impact in the first half. Looked busy in the middle but couldn’t make those penetrative runs. In the second half, the Argentine delivered a brilliant cross for Soucek. He delivered a magnificent cross from which Soucek equalised.

Nikola Vlasic 6

He looked distraught after a serious injury to Ashley Westwood. It was unintentional. He managed two key passes in the first half. He was taken off in the 64th minute. An unfortunate afternoon for him.

Michail Antonio 5

Bowen picked him in the box with a brilliant pass, but Antonio couldn’t hit the target despite making a sharp turn. He had an attempt on target with a header but didn’t get enough power. He got a great chance to put the team ahead but should have kept it low. He got a 1v1 chance and should have passed to Bowen, but he hit the ball straight at Pope.
