BBC pundit stunned at what West Ham fans did after loss v Everton
Former Tottenham Hotspur and Rangers forward Jermain Defoe was thrilled by what West Ham fans did after losing 1-0 to Everton.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored the winning goal at the London Stadium on Sunday as the Hammers suffered a 1-0 defeat.
At full-time, the fans were booing the players and Defoe, a BBC pundit, believes that means that their standards are that high.

He told Premier League Productions on 29 October at 20:41, “There were a few boos tells you there’s a demanding fanbase. That’s a great thing. They didn’t play too well but the fans expect them to be winning these matches.”
Spot on
The fans’ reaction was a good thing as it shows where the bar is for the Hammers and the result and performance was not acceptable.
One can understand David Moyes playing a passive brand of football against sides that are better technically and have world class players.
However, Everton under Sean Dyche themselves play such reactive football and they were there for the taking.

Moyes needs to coach a system where his players are also capable of dominating possession and making it difficult for sides in the lower half of the league.
If he can’t, then he may not be the right man for the job and should the Hammers keep slipping further down the table, he could be on sack watch once again.
Hopefully, this does not happen but it is a results business and they need to start delivering them on a consistent basis.
In other West Ham news, the Hammers are now frustrated with a £10m player as a behind-the-scenes revelation has emerged from the London Stadium.
